I read some comments. People who value cats and dogs lives more than humans are psychopaths. If you’d rather save a cat and let a human die because he’s worthless to you, you’re not a sane individual. No matter how much you like animals, you’re dead inside.

@eMortal Something is off with them, but it’s often from loneliness and difficulty socializing with humans. Dogs are bred to offer unconditional love and it tricks people.

@Fukfacewillie I think that must be it.

@eMortal what did I say???
If an entire species would disappear because of the actions of a few people, those people's lives mean less
Dogs are not.in danger of going extinct but for the sake of your question, if that homeless man was beating a dog, then I would take the dog and feed.it. you can feed that homeless ghoul

@eMortal How I always imagine them

Wasn't there also some Nazi that had his beloved pet but had no problem to set orders to kill hundreds in gas chambers?

@CrazyMusicLover Exactly

@CrazyMusicLover Well lets put that in proper perspective too. Hitler was a vegetarian

@eMortal I value my cat's life more than most stranger's because they're part of my family, but that comes within reason. If someone had said kill a random kid or your cat I'd choose my cat. That's just valuing what you know vs a human who is most likely a piece of shit.

@eMortal I don't think people are categorising humans in general or speaking aboutsaving one life over another.
Our opinions are based on our experiences, and in our experience, a cat or dog may offer more comfort than an abusive or hurtful human being. Although I am not a dog person, I must say that their loyalty and affection are unconditional. Perhaps people miss that in their lives.
