Parents walk away and can’t take my anxiety any more

I have bad anxiety and stress and don’t know how to cope with it so I walk around all day saying I don’t feel good. Usually my parents are there for me and very supportive of me. But My Parent say they can’t take my anxiety anymore and walk away. Could their action be affecting me negatively?

Perhaps you should try seeking professional help. To help ease your anxiety for yourself and take some stress off your parents.

It must be a duffucult decision for them. However, if what they have been doing up to this point has not been making anything better, perhaps they felt like they were enabling you, which isn't the right thing to do either. Not only is it a waste of time to comtinue to perform the same unsuccessful acts with success in mind, its also the textbook definition of crazy. Also, keep in mind that they have their own mental health to maintain as well.

Do you know the source of your anxiety? Did you know that we are born with only two fears? They are the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. When i get anxious, i remember that and i think about all the life changing and life threatening situations I've survived and i realize that eventhough things haven't always worked out as planned, they've always worked out.

You'll find out that there are times to keep your eyes on the horizon to be prepared for what's coming. Other times you just need to focus on your next step and keep stepping the way you need to step to get through the stuff you can't avoid or weren't prepared for. Have faith in yourself. You're a survivor. If you don't believe me, look into a mirror. The proof will be looking back at you. Trust it.

Finally, dont be defined by your weakness. Be defined by your strength and strive for new definition everyday.
Have you considered that your actions are affecting them negatively?

What do your parents say about helping you get professional help ?
Maybe they can't cope. Do you do anything to reduce it?
