I'm losing interest in life

SW-User
There is a well known quote of Marcel Proust, it goes something like this:-

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.

What he actually said was:-

The only true voyage of discovery, the only fountain of Eternal Youth, would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes, to behold the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to behold the hundred universes that each of them beholds, that each of them is

But no matter what he said, there is a whole world within us and around us. Starting to explore it can be a lifetimes work, rewarding.

I have known boredom, when nothing is of interest. Bad times, bad moments. But try to open to new possibilities. There is so much to learn and know. Trust yourself, be strong.

@SW-User thank you. But as of now I can't see any light

You wrote earlier -
I support my family bills and need to work hard
Those are very worthy activities. Your family is counting on you - I presume your family is of utmost importance. There are many other diversions available to anyone that don't take much time or money to get involved and stimulated. The first that comes to mind is reading.

Anyway - good luck.

You might want to get a medical check up. If you're good, then speak to a counselor. It's how I discovered that I have PDD, Persistent Depressive Disorder, which I can self-treat. Knowledge is Power.

@Guardian I might consult an expert soon.

Or we can make it interesting on our own
We should try to find
Lots of love and best wishes 🙇‍♀️🌸☘️

It means your life has become mundane and uninteresting meeting nothing of your demands., It's become a routine and there is nothing new to look for in the near future. So you now need to act on it and break your routine or go elsewhere.
sugarpie · 26-30, F
@in10RjFox I barely have money to do what I want. I support my family bills and need to work hard

@sugarpie "Doing what you love is freedom, loving what you do is happiness." - Lana Del Rey.

If you don't have freedom, learn to enjoy whatever you do. It's up to you to be happy or not. You may not be happy even when you have every material pleasure in life, and you can be happy without having any pleasures in life.
