I'm sickened tired of those Door to Door guys!

Goddammit, I don't want to buy any of your solar panels. Quit asking me what my contact information is too!
Adrift · 61-69, F
Ask them if they found salvation and then for their home address so a missionary could stop by and speak to them about the lord.
Have some pamphlets ready by the door.
Get the number of another salesman and give them that instead of your own number...
Adrift · 61-69, F
@HootyTheNightOwl ooh I like this.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
I don't see the big deal.
They just want you to tell them your name...

As a salesman yourself, I thought you would've appreciated the hustle, hank
HankHill · 70-79, M
@caPnAhab yes well, I would but I just can't trust these guys. One of them said his name was boothead and I forgot the other but they kept laughing like they were on the drugs or something.

So many naive Americans have no problem funding their own demise and the CCP at the same time.
CestManan · 46-50, F
There is a chance it is scammers or burglars trying to scope out the place.
Best to not even answer the door unless you are expecting someone.

Crooks target older folks. But as you already know, do not give them any sort of info.

"No thanks, I do not need it, have a nice day." and end communication there.

@CestManan y’all really live your lives in fear

We'll wait as long as we need to

Your roof will be so paneled up, you won't see a single shingle when I'm through with it
Budwick · 70-79, M
sickened tired - No

Sick and tired - There ya go!
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Budwick let's make sure to pick fly crap out of pepper.

The house two doors down has solar panels, so the salesmen think we are prime targets. I tell them that I'm an engineer and have done the analysis so I'm not interested.
I have a polite sign on my frount door
No solicitations, such will be considered as Tresspass

I HAVE answered the door naked!
thisguy20 · 41-45, M
At least they are offering something which is of value, unlike the goddamn missionaries.
Confined · 56-60, M
I have a sign on my door. No solicitors. Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again. 👹
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
It's probably from those climate Activist tools for the Establishment
Wiseacre · F
Ik a guy in Hawaii who sold solar panels...the job made him a wealthy man.
Wiseacre · F
Just don't open the dam door!
Adrift · 61-69, F
@Wiseacre or you can always answer the door wearing nothing but tighty whities and holding a feather duster.

Ok but you need Solar panels, they’re very affordable
SW-User
@CestManan you’re gonna be paying energy bills for the next 20 years anyway might as wel invest it not waste it
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SW-User solar panels have existed for decades, I'm curious why they're still still not very widespread. I had looked into it for my house but for whatever reason they say I don't qualify for them. Probably just the electric company wanting to make money in the long run but it doesn't matter because I don't own the house I live in anyway
SW-User
@CestManan that’s ok you can purchase now, put them in a storage unit until you’re ready to install on your new home! We’ll lock in your interest rate!!!!
REMsleep · 41-45, F
I live in a boomtown and I'm tired of people hounding me to buy my house.
Some people actually came to my house a couple days ago asking if I would sell.
Of course they wouldn't give a price. My husband told them to go away.
Different buyers email me and call me. They wanted all of our info. Please get lost.
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
@REMsleep the way I dealt with that was to tell them a number which I got from a real realtor and then I tripled the price. I then said no there's no negotiation buy it or go f off and they usually f off.

Dang it, Peg!
One of the things they didn't prepare me for when I moved from a bedroom community to the burbs
Adrift · 61-69, F
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Funny now that you mention that, I moved from a high gang activity neighborhood to the burbs and in my old neighborhood we never got door to door sales people nor did we have alot of property theft.
