Have you ever had to deal with someone who only cares about money?

I had the misfortune of being misled by a real life grifter. She put on a great act as if she was a truly wonderful person. I bought into that offered to take her out on a date but, she took one look at me, sized me up and down as if to put a dollar sign above my head. From her response I came to understand that my number was not even close to what she would even consider.

Years later, I learned that she basically destroyed the life of the guy she married, took his kids and all his money in a nasty divorce. She went on to use her gains and her church to hook up with a much much richer guy and she has been married to him for the past 10 years now. She lives free of any concern for what she did. I feel sorry for anyone she connects with but she is rich and getting richer and that’s all that matters to her.
