Why are we born different?

Why are our lives so different?

Some are kind, some are cruel. Some are beautiful, some not so.
Some are smart, some dumb. Some people get lucky. Some are healthy. While some suffer from chronic illness. Some live long, some die young. Some are happy, some are in pain.....the list goes on.

Why is we so difference? Is life just natures gamble? Or is there a reason why we are how we are?
Happiness does not come to people. It is created by our own choices. Life is what you put into it. We all have challenges in life and they are there to help us, not hurt us. Without them, we would never learn and grow. Attitude means everything. Life would be so boring, if everyone was the same.

Amen to that !

@LadyGrace When you look a some people, they never seem to have a choice. Some are born with defects, horrifying deformities or circumstance so bad. Some life ends within days of its brith. It's kind of unfair, isn't it?

We aren't necessarily born a certain way. There's a question about whether the way someone turns out is inevitable or due to the way they were brought up. That's the nature vs nurture debate. I think it's a mix of both. Peoples brains can work differently but the way someone is brought up obviously plays a significant role as well.

There is something I think about... people who are widly considered to be very attractive never seem to have issues that can't be overcome through learning, practice or determination, that have a negative social impact, like hayfever for example. I don't know what that means but it's something I've noticed.

@Redstar One look at the world in wider perspective makes you wonder. The difference is so huge. Even the fortunes, the calibers etc..

{@renkon] i understand you and get your point but whatever we are we all have our cross to bear in one shape or another 🤷‍♂️that is how it goes sadly . what you suggest is we humans come off a production line like a motor car the same in every detail would you not find that a boring world somehow

I think it would be boring if we are all exactly the same.

@Casheyane There is wisdom in your words.

I always yearned to know what’s behind things. Why is this world so. ..that itching feeling

@Renkon "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, and the honor of kings to search it out." Proverbs 25:2

Though I for one am comforted by the thought that no matter what I do, I don't get to understand the world and this universe fully.

I know that my God is protecting me, blessing me, providing and favoring me in ways I am not aware of, ways I couldn't possibly dream of, much less imagine. And to be loved like that, to receive such open kindness with no debts to pay, is the reason I am still capable of believing and fighting to the end of this race.

Wow! that's a deeply inspiring quote. Love it. Thank you.

Your words are filled with gratitude. Kindness and gratitude are the two qualities on which great lives are build. I hope you hold on those and find strength form it. You should be ok.

The luck of the draw
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
@Renkon sorry I don't understand
Renkon · 36-40, M
@Axeroberts I meant there should be a reason behind everything happening in this world and universe.
@Renkon Yes, there is a reason for everything. That doesn't mean that we were meant to know everything right now, but I do know that being that we live in a world filled with sin, then we're going to have things that are not perfect, as was in the beginning, before the fall of man. Before that, there was no death or illness.
Yes and especially yes and that's all I can say.

What ever you do
Don't sniff it
There are all kinds of reasons from nurture to nature, conditioning and culture to genetics. All ultimately happenstance.

Life is random, to whom and into what circumstances we are born is a cosmic crapshoot.
