Heard on the radio that their editing James Bond Novels to remove words that Woke people find offensive! Is this true?

I don't think we should allow this if it is. I'm not a fan of the James Bond Books, just the movies. But if they get away with this. Where is it going to end?
If you don't like a book don't read it! Why do people have to lose their right to freedom of speech just because someone gets offended. And if you offend easily seek Therapy!

@SW-User I grew up with More, Dalton and Brosnan's James bond. And then Austin Powers came out and I thought it was dreadful parody. Then I watched Connery's Bond... Austin Powers was tame by comparison. 🤣

I think there should be edited versions like there are on tv (over the air broadcasts)

an original unedited version and then one that is sanitized for public consumption

@hunkalove 1962 was a different area. I was 12 years old in the 90's and mum would have been happy if I read anything.
