Abuse destroys your life.
Convenience isn’t worth it.

@tobynshorty took over two years for me to give a best comment

@wackidywack thank you!😊

ABSOLUTELY
in fact thats what i did.
It wasnt just inconvenient, it was like ripping off a social, financial, emotional, habitual, physical, heart rendering , soul breaking, life changing bandaid.
I tore myself away from the last vestiges of my life, my home and my hard worked for future...to get away from abuse.
Abuse eats away at you bit by bit by bit until nothing is left.
Nothing is worth losing who you are.

my father emotionally abuses me since childhood i learned to lie for convenience just to lie than let him yell at me until he tires himself. so i think i do
popmol · 26-30, M
wait i think i misunderstood the question :p
wackidywack · 26-30
@popmol I feel like you didn't but for clarification purposes, why don't we try again
choose only one:
1. lack of convenience
2. emotional abuse
choose only one:
1. lack of convenience
2. emotional abuse
popmol · 26-30, M
@wackidywack emotional abuse for sure, i'm used to it by now, most things i do are for convenience :p thats how i meant it!
i read it the first time not as "lack of" but just convenience!

For a long time I stayed with what was convenient despite the abuse I was subjected too. When I eventually left that situation I found myself feeling more peaceful and content despite losing out on those conveniences
twistedrope · 26-30, M
I would never choose emotional abuse. I would just walk away if I am not in a position of power. If I am in a position of power, I would tell them "I don't like it when you speak that way to me. Please leave as this conversation is over."
If my living situation relies on them, I would record them and collect evidence to eventually get them removed if I could. It's nightmarish but I deserve better.

I'd choose anything over abuse.

Lack of convenience. It’s a tough choice though.
wackidywack · 26-30
