People are essentially sweet and vulnerable as well as being arseholes

Sometimes when a customer is ranting and raving at me I think about the simple parts of their life, such as when they put their socks on in the morning. Like it’s quite a vulnerable moment, sat there with your little tootsies out, cold and alone, putting on your socks. The simple things of life make me remember that we are all the same. The way life twists and contorts our minds and our life to make us aggressive, passive, angry, happy, that’s how a person handles the things life throws at them. But at the end of the day we’re all just people putting on our socks in the morning and I like the vulnerability of that.

I just imagined a woman having a mental breakdown breaking in tears because she can't find a f***ng pair of socks in her drawer at 6:30 AM on a cold dark morning.
And I feel for her. Because when that happens you know a lot of s**t must be going on in someone's life when such a BS is the last straw.
When one feels like they can't anymore...

@CrazyMusicLover yeah I agree and it makes me feel the same, I always think you don’t know what’s going on in someone’s life if they lose their shit with you, it makes me wonder what’s happened in their day to get them to this point and i know for them it’s gonna be the worst thing possible so I try to be patient and understanding with them

The bigger the arsehole, the more vulnerable they are - seems to me arseholes are likely beign arseholes because they don't have the capability to deal with their vulnerabilities. It's their defense mechanism.
