Simple is better

If you try to sound smart by using more words than are necessary or using words you had to look up in the dictionary than you actually come off as dumb or ignorant because we all know that you’re either trying to hide something or feel more important than you are

Eh. I’m going to come across as dumb anyway because I’ve watched The Office so much that Michael Scott’s incredibly incorrect elephant word usage has become too intertwined with my own vocabulary. The number of times I haven’t been able to catch it before blurting crap out is incalculacable.

Haha 😂 that’s great.

not every individual is capable of understanding the tendency of paradoxical emotions. although, to be more precise, one could say that telematic indicators of homogeneity of contiguous homogeneous substances are capable of counterbalancing the opposite tendency.

Lol exactly

{@reflective] you can make your point with few simple words
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
I have always used simple language.
It makes things much more easier to get out and for others to understand

I agree, being direct is nice too. If you do it with good intent. It just makes it easy to know what others want when they tell you.
What a strange thing, to tell people how to live yet call yourself reflective…

It’s more of me wanting to vent about specific people I work with who show the same behaviors. It’s like they try and keep control by making things purposefully confusing. Know your audience, If your purpose of communicating is for understanding than make it understandable
