Do you ever feel that life is passing you by?

Yesterday, as my wife had her treatment, I was reading Scott Stiiiman’s “Nature’s Silent Message”. To paraphrase, “Freedom is a myth. We believe that in our youth if we work hard enough, save enough, and the market doesn’t crash we can retire. Then we can do as we please, make our own schedule, live by our rules.” It seems we worked for freedom only to lose it to age.
