In real life, all of the above+ Serbian, Croatian, Italian, Spanish and - my all time favourite - two different people in just one day thought that I was, the first one, Indian and the other one Icelandic. To be fair, most of this comes from having a very common name and not my looks

I later found out through my Ancestry DNA test that I am 7% Indigenous.

i get asked if i'm French a lot in person. many times people have just started speaking Spanish to me in public, which i am part Spaniard, but no hablo español. a few people who'd never seen me have referred to me as Asian online.

In the mid 1970s applying sun screen meant putting something on that increased sun exposure. I’d spend a few weeks at the beach and get fried, and since I’m an olive complected Caucasian I was mistaken for Black when I came home from the beach.

Although once a woman came up to me in cvs and started speaking to me in Spanish. I don’t know if she thought I was Spanish or just hoped someone around spoke it

I've been mistaken for hispanic quite often. Random people would sometimes walk up to me speaking spanish. It always catches me off guard. 😳🤣
