I won't speak for others, but for me its a matter of unconvincing arguments or lack thereof. Sure you may think you have proof, that there is validity in your claims but not for me. And if that works for you, great! You do you, not my business. The difference is I believe between myself and other atheists, i'm just speculating here, is that I hope I am wrong. I hope there is an afterlife atleast. The thought of perishing and never again existing is terrifying.

I'm not necessarily anti God, but I am anti religious. I have a major problem with the idea of faith and worship. I have a problem that I can't ask questions or if I can, the answers do not answer the question or do not satisfy. I left the church when I was 18, never looked back once.

I don’t judge you for you beliefs and I’m happy for you that you find peace in them. However your blanket statement about atheists puts out a very negative vibe.
