I'm with Jusforfun65 and the others, it's not a race.

It's like with infants and toddlers, some may start walking at 9 months, others 12, others much later. It's not a predictor of where they will be in 20 years, nor how happy, nor how loved.

You're fine. Those feelings can come from comparing ourselves to others. Don't be hard on yourself.

My friends that are of the same age and I are all at different points in our life because life doesn't happen to us, it happens for us. The finish line is an illusion because once you reach it, you'll find yourself with new goals. You're not behind. You're right where you're supposed to be.

same here i feel like i can officially start my life when others will already be out there having fun but ignorance is bliss block those thoughts

Not unusual to feel that way when you’re young or even when you’re older. But you never know what others are going through and often the “successful” ones have bigger issues that you don’t know about. And I’m betting some if the people you envy are actually envious of you.

We all move at our own pace and in our own direction. The thing about being envious of others is we only envy the good and may not consider the negatives that accompany what others have done.

People develop and achieve at different ages. Some do well very young but burn out. Some plod steadily and achieve later. Most of us do our best, have ups and downs but do ok and have fun too. 👍

Everyone is different and has a different life. Don't compare yourself with others. Just make yourself go on the right path. Life is a journey, not the destination. Enjoy the life..

There’s no life manual to tell you that you need to achieve certain things at a certain age.

“Way ahead in life” is extremely relative.

Don’t get hyped on what you see on social media 🤷🏻‍♂️ that person who’s “happily” in a relationship could be miserable as fuck, or just graduated college could be working in McDonald’s coz there are no jobs.

Don’t compare, we all live our unique story. Period.

You can't be behind if your age bracket is correct.

And if you try to keep up with OTHERS' dreams...you'll likely miss out on your own.

You are still young

Your competitor isn't them. Let them live their lives. You live yours. Your timeline is different.

You only have a problem when you're not improving from yesterday's you. Now that girl, your past self, is your true competitor.

Enjoy, once I reached past 30, yrs fly. Learn as much as you can save as much also. Every journey is unique. Talents you have use it as income or career find your niche go with it. Best to you🌅

I'm many years behind too and also had this thought in the past, but as long as you're making progress that's what matters. You've got many years of adulting anyway so what's the rush

Do it in your own pace. Sometimes, the tortoise starts slow but finishes first, when the hare runs out of batteries half way.

You are much better off to take your time and get it right rather than rush and end up where you dont belong.

You're behind some and ahead of many others. Life isn't a race. I didn't start my real career until almost 30 and it happens, but I found a way to be happy. I was a mess on your age range and things turned out pretty well.
