I think that when people are against it, they are probably not facing an unwanted pregnancy.
I imagine they would decide pretty quick, "Hmm, maybe abortion is not such a bad idea" if they really had to decide first hand.

@CestManan Have all the abortions you want, just don't expect the rest of us to pay for it
I've never had one but am still pro choice as long as pregnancy is terminated early on. @CestManan

@CestManan Pro life women have gotten abortions before, there were studies done and there was no political party more likely to have an abortion. The only difference is that pro life women are hypocrites to outwardly judge others for what they've done. They know deep down that pro choice is the correct one, they're just hypocritical.

Same with republican politicians who pay off their side hustle girls to have abortions if they get them knocked up.

@sunsporter1649 How much of your check really goes to paying for abortions though? I bet you don't even see a dent, therefore you don't really believe in "having as many abortions as you want."

@SatanBurger I've never had an abortion. The ones that do though are probably aborting future burdens on the legal system which would cost a lot more in the long run

@SatanBurger "A new GAO report presents a very disturbing picture of how America’s biggest abortion business receives a massive amount of taxpayer funding to further its abortion agenda.

In 2019, pro-life Reps. Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), Pete Olson (R-TX), and Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) led over 120 House and Senate Members in a letter to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) requesting data on federal taxpayer dollars received by pro-abortion groups. Last week, the GAO issued the report that covers a three year period, from fiscal years 2016-2018.

Requested by pro-life members of Congress to expose how pervasive its taxpayer funding is, the GAO report indicates pro-abortion groups Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), Marie Stopes International (MSI) and International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) received a massive amount of American tax dollars.

In total, the pro-abortion groups received $1.8 billion in taxpayer dollars over the three-year period."

I guess if you can blow $3,000,000,000 in "tree equity" who cares about a measly $1.8 billion

@CestManan I've never had an abortion either but if you fall in love with the wrong person or things didn't turn out the way you wanted, I could see abortion being the right thing to do. Coercion exists regardless if you're female or male doing it to someone else so for the fact that coercion exists makes me pro choice.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@sunsporter1649 A lot of abortion providers also provide coverage for women's health generally, they do way more than just give abortions. That's why in anti abortion countries, women's reproductive healthcare is at an all time low. That's perhaps why they receive funding and I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure your check doesn't see a dent in it. First world problems babe.

@sunsporter1649 Just what I thought darling:

[big]Right-wing media botch GAO report to push myth that taxpayers are funding abortion[/big]

[quote]Indeed, just like any other health care provider -- including the other providers listed in the GAO’s March 2018 report -- Planned Parenthood is reimbursed by the government for the specific [big][c=BF0000]non-abortion services[/c][/big] it provides to low-income patients via programs like Medicaid[/quote]
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@sunsporter1649 Tell me, do you complain when health care providers pay for your health as a male like yearly check ups and other things? But yet you spin women's general reproductive care as "paying for abortions." Life is more than you sweets, you are not the center of the universe. Women especially low income women deserve health too regardless of your sexist attitude towards us.

$1.8 billion in "other services"? Who you trying to kid?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@sunsporter1649 Repeating yourself doesn't make it true, these abortion providers get money for low income women for non abortion related procedures but conservatives typically don't care for women's reproductive health since they want control and there's nothing like control over low income women than removing our health care providers.

Like as in other anti abortion countries that make women heavily dependent upon men.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@sunsporter1649 1.8 billion and yet you forget that those providers are spread out around the world, it's not that much statistically.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SatanBurger Great, we get to pay to kill babies all across the globe, wonderful
tindrummer · M
@SatanBurger this guy's big on repeating crap ad nauseum like hippy joe - at least no memes yet 😅
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@tindrummer Hey no memes is a plus, they can formulate words lols.
