@ZashaKitty please don’t judge me when I say this but toxic masculinity reminds me of one date I had in college my sophomore year this guy showed up in a purple old Beamer and I don’t judge people for cars but purple come on and it was a low rider and he had gotten a spray tan or he was just orange and he was buff so buff his shirt was too tight and he had blonde tips and his mufflers were too loud and I had to get in the front seat and go to some Italian restaurant and it was awful. That’s my description of toxic masculinity he was also intellectually beneath me And called me sugar He didn’t open the doors and tried to kiss me goodbye

@DarkHeaven sorry but i dont agree on that. I dont think Masculinity is toxic but more so people in general

@Casualsharter I don't judge people. I just dont think toxic masculinity exists and think it is just something people say to demean men now. I do think toxic people exist though but I dont think gender plays a part in that
@ZashaKitty I wasn’t saying that I agree. I was just explaining what it is. Masculinity isn’t toxic in and of itself but toxic masculinity is masculinity that has become toxic because it is so overboard. It’s a guy just trying to push his weight around because he’s a guy. Femininity can be toxic too, when the woman does the same thing with what is typically considered feminine traits.
@ZashaKitty I would agree with you that toxic people are more so the issue, and if we use those terms it could be a way of pushing gender bias. I’ll have to think on that some.
