A 4 year old girl has gone missing from a campsite near Carnarvon Western Australia 11 days ago

Presumed kidnapped.
An observation of mine is that interviews with the parents, they seem so calm, almost no emotion.
Don't know what to make of this

That’s aweful!!!!! I hope she is found safely. Parents calm reaction: I guess it depends on when the parents were interviewed. Day or day 10.
If I were the parent—I don’t think I could talk about it. It’s mind blowing I wouldn’t be able to function. I would definitely ask Dad to be the one to talk and handle the media. But who knows. Maybe I would be so numb that I couldn’t react at all. What a horrible situation. On the other extreme- if the parents had anything to do with it, they will be found out. And I doubt Australia would just let anyone get away with that.

May she found soon.

Yeahhh people grieve in different ways but the mother seems to acting like her daughter is gone forever which is highly unusual

There is something very Chris Watts about their behaviour

@plungesponge I am going to try to keep an open mind, but I swear to God I can't help but find this weird as all fuck. 14 mins 20 seconds - the interviewer asks her what she would say to her daughters abductor, and her answer is that I don't know what I'd say...which is very odd for a mother given a chance to appeal to a kidnapper. Then her boyfriend seems to realize thats weird and literally nudges her and substitutes a more expected answer 'Please bring our girl back' and I swear she looks momentarily angry as she turns to him

And another weird moment at 11:20 when the interviewer raises the conspiracies floating around about the odd reactions and he says 'How does it feel knowing people believe you did it' and her answer is Í cant imagine what that feels like...which doesn't actually make sense, and then as soon as the interviewer moves off this awkward topic at 13mins and asks if they are experienced campers, she almost smiles. Again I'm trying really hard not to assume in an unimaginably horrible situation but my gut reaction is something seems off

Remember that little boy that went missing while out camping with his parents, grandpa, and random dude? Very similar feel to the story.

I saw an interview and the mother was crying. The stepdad seemed to lack emotion. Poor little girl.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@meggie Yes, I saw that one. Maybe Dad is Stoic, outwardly expressing little emotion.
Flossie · 36-40, F
Not true. The mother is beside herself with grief during interviews. Her partner is not the child's father.
Gusman · 61-69, M
@Flossie I am only going on what I have seen.
I stand corrected if that is the case.

people react differently... it would be more suspicious if people were overly hysterical
