What makes you accept yourself the way you are?

Knowing that this version of myself, just like all the prior versions, will grant me the opportunities to shape and lead me to the me that I can be truly proud of one day.

Watching animals in nature. I’m always nervous, especially when noticed, and they’re that way. Makes me think it’s not that unnatural and I don’t have to fix that. Hell, it might be useful.

At an age where I'm just more confortable with who I am and less concerned with opinions of others

No other choice. It is not like I can exchange myself for a better me.

I really have no choice but to accept myself at this moment. It may not always be pretty, but it's real. I can find ways to improve the things I don't like and ways to strengthen the things I do, but who I am now is who I am now and there's no getting around that.

If I don't then who will ?

My experiences. I know where I’ve been and what I’ve done. I accept my mistakes, but I understand why they happened. I’m not deterred.

I try to improve what I can improve. My means are limited, what I can't change I have to deal with.

I don't always,I believe change is good,however I accepted my personality and limitations and strengths

Because there can only ever be one me and that's cool.
But sometimes I struggle to like myself.

Nothing, I'm better than I am now and the intention is to start doing something about it.

I'm very pleased with myself, being 42 and mistaken for 27/32 regularly
