I guess thinking you can do something and actually doing it are two different things.

Not to mention that offenders can be kids themselves.

I wouldn't but I have a Buddhist outlook on life. I support self defense for that sake, I wouldn't blame someone, how can I say that one shouldn't? Certainly that's self defense if someone is hurting you or a pet that you love.

Here are my reasons for why I wouldn't but I can't exactly say what anyone would do, just give my thoughts:

1. I think it does little in the way of justice if people think that's actually justice. The issue with that sort of person who likely have other disorders is that people assume that beating them teaches someone a lesson or make them feel pain. However, people assume that these sorts of people think just like them but they don't, their psychology is different.

You're just doing what they're used to, so they won't really care all that much. I know it sounds like they would care about getting hurt but many don't because they don't think like the rest of us, they don't care. You can yell at the narcissist all day but they'll forever be a victim or at least act like one. Any apology from the narcissist will be superficial, even when bashed in the skull. Doesn't matter what circumstance, you can fill them full of love and some people will just take advantage but they won't care if you're violent either as they live for reactions.

They also have a victim persecution complex so beating them also perpetuates their victimhood and confirms their delusional narrative.

2. Not all murderers did so out of heartless reasons, some murderers are psychopaths but not all murderers are psychopathic. There are differences in non-psychopathic murderers and psychopathic ones as studied by forensic science.

I'm not saying a murderer who isn't psychopathic is morally justified to take away anyone's life but there is many different circumstances in regards to criminality and some people do feel remorse. Some situations are environmentally created and some even artificially created, I would give reasons but for the sake of time I won't go into it.

3. The line between vigilantism and serial killers is a very thin one. There are types of serial killers whose reasoning for killing sex workers for instance is not unlike that violent form of justice because they find it morally reprehensible. I'm talking mainly from what I learned through forensic psychology.

So unrelated but related at the same time, let's say we all beat murderers and people similar, that would also desensitize us to violence much like how watching horror movies with special effects does. Does this not change us in the process? Think about the times where we hung people and it was a family picnic, is this morally just?

Keep in mind this is all just my [b][c=BF0000]opinion[/c][/b] from studying human behavior, I don't know if I'm 100% right. Like doing one act of violence won't turn one bad, that's not what I'm saying but I think there's a fine line there somewhere.

Murderer? That would depend on who got murdered. Some people should be killed, and some murders I approve of.

Nope I wouldn't because as you do such things you then bring yourself down to their level as much as its painful for what they do it's not your life and you don't have to live with the guilt of what you did.unless you did Ki them then you also would live with the guilt

No. I wouldn't want that on my conscience. Other people's shitty behaviour shouldn't be an excuse for me to do the same.

Animal abuser and child rapist? Sure but I'd want to know the reason why the murderer did what they did. I mean some people just have it coming, I mean if I found out somebody finally had enough and murdered my older sister, I'd be like well, fair enough. But if it was some psycho who murdered just to get their jollies, or because they wanted to inherit or something like that then yeah, they'd get the belt!

Unless that person was in the active process of hurting a victim, I wouldn't harm them. I'd prefer that a court of law take care of them and hopefully jail them. Needless to say, I'm against the death penalty.
