has anyone offered employment to someone on street corner asking for cash?? did they accept or decline the job offer??

My dad has once, actually. The guy accepted and helped him on a short term project. He used dad as a reference and eventually found work.

I've bought a lot of food for homeless people and most accepted gladly.

Saw one guy on the corner holding a sign that read, "Wouldn't work if you held a gun to my head. Need money for beer and smokes."

I almost gave him a dollar, but the light changed.

Many times I have offered to buy people begging for cash a dollar hamburger from a fast food joint.
They almost always say no to food but still want the money .

I don't know what Moose Lodge Bingo is but I know I want to be there.
