Will you marry your partner even though they are carrying/having genetically disease?

Like diabetes, cancer, high cholesterol in blood, etc..
SW-User
I have diabetes so it would be a bit hypocritical if I said no - also it has absolutely no impact on anything

@SW-User oh dear poor you
SW-User
@Royrogers it’s fine, I don’t need pity, it’s not such a big deal 😊
Royrogers · 61-69, M
@SW-User I was just trying to be nice

of course. death comes for us all one way or another

Would be sad to deny a woman over that. 🥺
SW-User
It is sad to end things after being with the same person for so long … but sometimes it’s needed also … it is what it is 🌎 🕯 @Classified

@Classified Well, I have high cholesterol (I got that from my dad sides, my brother and I also got that too) and might carrying cancer (my mom and my grandma died from breast cancer).

I've been thinking a lot to find a love life but I think I should forget about it. It's too much disease in me to carry and I don't want my children suffer become of my bad genes.
Classified · M
@SW-User Why is it sometimes needed?
@iamelijah What if someone you like wants to be with you anyway? When they are aware of possible complications and accept those for the gain of being with you.
Lostpoet · M
My sister says i am disease
@Lostpoet you are not a disease.
Lostpoet · M
@littlepuppywantanewlife 😁 Thank you brodda 🍻

If you love someone very much, then you love them. You don't want to be with some hoser for the rest of your life...you want to be with the one you really love.

Most people don't THINK about things like diabetes, cancer, or high cholesterol in families when they are in love.
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@4meAndyou I know but at certain point this person might have second thought during the relationship or this person is more thinking about "good healthly genes" / "jackpot genes" to make sure their children inherit those good genes (this is mostly happen in arranged marriage or some elites stuffs or more focusing about heritage/legacy etc idk).
4meAndyou · F
@iamelijah If this is an arranged marriage, then it is the PARENTS who should be having second thoughts, since there is no love involved.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Those are not conatgious or infectious; but you might find youself being a carer as much as spouse, if that's what's worrying you.

At least diabetes and high cholesterol are fairly easy to control.

[c=004A59]When I was dating, yes, I would have considered someone with a disease that could potentially be passed on. I didn't plan to have kids anyway, having serious health problems of my own.[/c]
SW-User
That’s what wedding vows mean don’t they 🤔
iamelijah · 26-30, M
@SW-User People change. When they got pushed so hard, they probably gonna leave them.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
Hey, that's my kid you're talking about 😤
ExtremeNext · 31-35

iamelijah · 26-30, M
@SW-User Are you willing to go through it? It's so much commitment to take care someone ill.
SW-User

{@ilovefood ] for those reasons it would be a poor show not too
SW-User
Everyone does or eventually will have something wrong with them
yes unless its a dick disease
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
I wouldn’t mind
SW-User
Of course !
SW-User
I’m a diabetic so it would be hypocritical not to accept that in someone else. I’d want them to manage it, though, and I do as well.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
