Is crypto currency the way of the future?

SW-User
prominent part of the future, and it's already happening now.
Currency has always been cryptic to me.
The snake never goes around forever. It may eat its tail but that shows that it has an end and a beginning..

Eden.. the snake was a symbol for the invented things. Man has gone far beyond living in creation, they have deviated far into the snake and steered far away from natural; it wont be able to continue much longer.

Further into the snake of mans creations only brings about the reversion again to the head and natural state. Morals cant exist in a society based on money. We are dead zombies following a paved path. Some to execution and some to life..

It will be the method of payment soon. Cash will be abolished.

@Iwillwait agree
It's a door to the fucking stoneage..
heyitsemma · 26-30, F
@Jdanielb why?

Nah it's video stores, you go and pay money to rent video tape. The wave of the future!!!!
It’s a Ponzi scheme
@heyitsemma because
1. no central bank baking it
2. no stock exchange where you register and you are guaranteed certain value of stocks in return for your money
3. not like gold, it's virtual

@mysteryespresso part of the point of crypto is that it is decentralised
@Lonelyandyb yes, that's the good part

It’s a modern ‘Kings new clothes’ idea.

If you believe in it, then it has ‘value’.
Otherwise it’s just a peculiar bunch of people trying to convince you to part with ‘real’ money in order to buy ‘imaginary money’
heyitsemma · 26-30, F
@Picklebobble2 you can use crypto currency to buy real things though, and transfer it back into your account

@heyitsemma What’s the point if there are so many ways of using real money and transferring it the same way ?

I think using the word ‘currency’ is misleading.
It’s not so much a ‘currency’ as a ‘stock’ or ‘share’.
It’s ‘value’ is determined by the ‘value’ buyers and sellers give it.

doubtful but it doesn't need to be in order to be useful.
