@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout lot of science and mechanical knowledge involved.. you do like with the bugs that eat it all up or lots of chemicals.. I know there are different systems.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout that makes it safe and secure in the long run
@Mindful I work at a biological plant. We keeps the bugs happy and they eat the shit.. when the screw up the design the have to add Chemicals to assist in the treatment.. sugar if the ppls diet isn’t great. Iron for settling. Then there’s chlorine for disinfectant

@Mindful I should add that there’s 2 processes, sludge treatment and removal. And effluent quality and river discharge.. the final effluent has to meet a standard and the chlorine is used in the final clear water..
It would kill the bugs if we dropped chorine in the bioreactor 😁
We use Utra violate lamps at my plant.. the final eff just runs thru a channel of lamps before going into the river

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout haha I can't believe I actually understood that, that's what we do.. we have a treatment plant at our facility and use ultraviolet to purify the well water we use for drinking.. the waste water once processed we use to irrigate.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout ironic
Heading to Brazos Colorado river delta near matagora bay in Texas
@Eclipsed at another plant I look after all the effluent goes into a dam and it’s a EPA requirement that every drop goes onto the farmers harvest.. if the dam over flows it’s a licence breach and big money fines.. imagine trying to handle that in all the rain.. the farmer can’t use it, the grounds already soggy.. 😑
