What would you think of a 31 year old woman who looked 19 years of age?

@Serenitree: I am supervisor already of what I do but do agree I need to be more assertive as it will stop me feeling so ashamed of myself.

@Jenni855: looking young and cute isn't anything to feel ashamed of. Feeling insecure because of your looks is futile, and self defeating. If you see a person with a large crooked nose and very close set eyes which require thick glasses, who also happens to be holding a fairly high position in a prestigious business, do you look at them and respect them less because of how they look? Or do you accept their looks and treat them with the respect due them as a person in their position.

People will respect you only as much as you respect yourself. If they can see you're ashamed or feeling insecure because of who you are, they aren't going to treat you with the respect you deserve.

Oh yes it does. I had to show ID to buy booze until I was over 35, and that was when the legal age had already changed to 19. My friend who was 6 years younger got served with no questions asked, but I had to produce my ID every time.

Definitely does exist. I get told I look 19-20 by everyone.

I'm not saying today. But, maybe, in the future. When you are a bit older. More 10 or 20 years older.

My dad looked like he was in his 20s until he turned 50. Then his hair started going grey and he started looking a bit older. Then he got cancer and by 57, he looked 200 years old.
