What secret did your parents keep from you?

A secret which you only found out many years later?
When I applied for my Birth Certificate I found out that I had two brothers who died in childbirth in the late 50's
It was never mentioned at all.

I found out that my father was going around telling everyone that it was my mum who had the drinking and physical abuse problem.
He still claims it to this day.
Clearly it wasn't true as we kids witnessed stuff.
But he came out with this bullshit a couple of years ago that he said was a secret.
Absolute lies.
