In your opinion, how much control does a person have over their life?

a lot more than they think. But to change your life, you must push the boundaries of your comfort zone. If you live your life with boundaries you are comfortable with, you will limit your ability to change directions or expand your capabilities. When I coach sports, i tell the kids this all the time. Push yourself to try what you think you cant do, and practice outside that comfort zone. Eventually, you become better at that and you push the boundaries again and repeat.

Life is a series of "cause and effect" events. You can't control what is caused by the actions of other people...such as this Pandemic...but you can try to consider, carefully, the results that might occur from your own words and actions and how they might affect you or those close to you.

We don’t have control over the things that happen to us, but we have full control over how we react to them.

It depends on what's happening

That's why we have the serenity prayer

There's things we can control

And things we can't

we can merely guide our trek as so many outside influences influence us.
Depends upon the person an what they want etc etc etc

No as much as we would like to think.

in my experience you have two options, go on with it or die. It's a lot of control but at the same time it's not.
