Does anyone hold long grudges?

Back in high-school, there was a guy who I really hated. He didn't bully me or I didn't bully him but we just didn't really get along. I left high-school over ten years ago now and I forgot about about my deep dislike for him. I ran into him before the lockdown began and my hatred for him has come back. I'm trying to understand why I feel that way because I've never been that kind of a bitter person before.

It's got me thinking, do any of you guys still hold grudges which have lasted a long time?

stevenjames93 depends what the crime against me is people who bullied me at school and in my early life i bear a grudge against them even if it forty years almost since i left school i know it sounds small minded on my part but when you put up with arseholes like them for a long period makes you very angry and bitter

@smiler2012 yeah the thing is that I like to see myself as a good person. Other grudges I’ve had, I’ve forgiven and forgotten. This one grudge though I can see it going for many years such as yourself.

@stevenjames93 i guess it is only a grudge like me only you yourself can end even though you have been deeply hurt only you can find forgiveness in your heart balls in our court i suppose
