If someone says you're cute - how do you react?

I'm old so cute works!

I say "thank you." What I hear most often is the comment: "You are a cute couple" when they see my wife and me walking arm in arm. What they mean is, "You are a cute old couple."

Depends on the situation. Have not been called “cute” recently, but in the right context I thank the person for the compliment

I like it, it feels nice without being too full on.

if its a girl i say thank you! I don't like to overthink things.

I think you have to know your audience. If you call a girl cute who is trying to be sexy, then they don’t feel sexy.. Sometimes a woman wants to know your wildly attracted to them.. to be honest, it’s not a word I use much.. pretty if you’re not trying to be sexual, beautiful works too..

But then I wonder: if I am cute then why has no girl or woman ever shown any interest in me? My personality is not too bad. So it must be my looks, right?

I’d feel like it’s a step down from from being pretty. Or like little girlish!

I say thank you! And then assess the intent. Polite? Flirtatious? Sarcastic?

I would probably look for a white cane in their hands and maybe a seeing eye dog!

It depends how you feel about that person. If you like them you have to embrace their attraction to you by showing that you are attracted to them as well. If a boy tells you he finds you cute, most of the time he was scared almost to death to approach you, and you need to take away his fear and show him that he did not waste his time or worry to give you a compliment. You do not need to give him a commitment, but just a nice thank you, smile, and gaze into the eyes, or anything else you can do to further the conversation would be ideal. If you keep talking to him, and more importantly, you keep acting like you want to keep talking to him, then you did the correct thing.

If you do not like him, it is best to be grateful and respectful. Just say thank you and do your best to end the conversation. That will tell him that you are not interested, but will also not hurt his feelings too much.

I accept it as a compliment. I don't wish to be beautiful or gorgeous. I think it's endearing, I'm more cute than the other choices anyhow.

I put whatever change I have in their cup. I donate to the visually impaired, and several other worth while charities, when ever I can .

It depends, if I'm feeling cute i say thank you. If I'm feeling gross and it comes off as insincere I just glare.
