If someone says you're cute - how do you react?

I'm old so cute works!

I'm 40+...so I react like this... 🤨

I say thank you and smile

I forgive them

I thank them and give them a compliment right back !

I say "thank you." What I hear most often is the comment: "You are a cute couple" when they see my wife and me walking arm in arm. What they mean is, "You are a cute old couple."

I will smile and thank them for their kind words..

The only one who says that to me is my guy....and I always hug him for it

It depends how you feel about that person. If you like them you have to embrace their attraction to you by showing that you are attracted to them as well. If a boy tells you he finds you cute, most of the time he was scared almost to death to approach you, and you need to take away his fear and show him that he did not waste his time or worry to give you a compliment. You do not need to give him a commitment, but just a nice thank you, smile, and gaze into the eyes, or anything else you can do to further the conversation would be ideal. If you keep talking to him, and more importantly, you keep acting like you want to keep talking to him, then you did the correct thing.

If you do not like him, it is best to be grateful and respectful. Just say thank you and do your best to end the conversation. That will tell him that you are not interested, but will also not hurt his feelings too much.

I accept it as a compliment. I don't wish to be beautiful or gorgeous. I think it's endearing, I'm more cute than the other choices anyhow.

I put whatever change I have in their cup. I donate to the visually impaired, and several other worth while charities, when ever I can .

Depends on the situation. Have not been called “cute” recently, but in the right context I thank the person for the compliment

I get a little blindsided by it. But I'll usually say thanks but make it sound like a question

It depends, if I'm feeling cute i say thank you. If I'm feeling gross and it comes off as insincere I just glare.

It is usually an advance. It is an innocent way for a man to say he finds a female attractive and wants to date her. He is looking to see how she will respond. You need to show him how you feel with your response.

I duck so they don't scratch behind my ears and try to believe they mean it positively.

In my case shocked the polite reaction is a simple Thank you

I'm not good at taking compliments, but I would just say a shy thank you
