It is extremely quite in my area.

@HannibalAteMeOut A couple houses back my room was on the other side of a teenage girl. It was always "NOOOOO" "I HATE YOU" "AHHHHHHH". Fun times.

@Zoranna Sure, I hear everything from my neighbours. Thankfully the last married couple moved out over 12 months ago.
I could hear everything.

@Gusman That would be awful! I can only hear my neighbours if they're outside and it's usually only their 10 year old son playing. Thank goodness my place is free-standing, I couldn't bear to have common walls ... or as in your case ceiling/floor. 😉

The married couple who moved a year ago, the husband worked afternoon shift.
Got home at 12.30 am, I was woken at 1 am every week day morning by a metronomic thumping on the wall.😒

@Gusman Not really. It is more like an act of worship than reciting quranic texts. The prayers are prescribed. They have to have all the words in all the right places.
