Do your State's Schools still grade students A - F?(both)

One school here in Western Australia has decided to do away with that system.
Now it will be,
Achieved
Partially Achieved
Not Achieved
So no more "A" Students
So no more "F" Students

F grades are oppression.. everyone gets an A.
and a college course they can’t pass and a hex debt they can’t afford 😎👌

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout So wrong to charge students money to learn.
Imagine finishing your studies with a $21,000 debt(average)
Here in Australia 200,000 students have a debt, $50,000 and above.
18,000 students have a debt $100,000 and above.
Shaking my head in sadness
Don’t get me wrong but I thought schools and education is what our tax dollars are meant to cover.. time to audit the purse strings me thinks.. lots of tax dollars going off shore lately.. @Gusman

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout The system has been broken for many years.
Capitalism at is core is cruelty personified
FloridaGuy · 51-55, M
How?@Gusman
Gusman · 61-69, M
@FloridaGuy How what?
FloridaGuy · 51-55, M
Capitalism is better than any other system. Why do you disagree?@Gusman
Gusman · 61-69, M
@FloridaGuy Capitalism survives on more profit.
How can one continue to make more profit?
Reduce the workforce, move to cheap countries.
Leaving behind so many people destitute.
One may say the country the company moves to benefits. Sure.
At what cost to those left behind?
FloridaGuy · 51-55, M
Where can I find these destitute folks victimized by capitalism?@Gusman
Gusman · 61-69, M
@FloridaGuy Go to your local soup kitchen and ask those using the service their stories.
FloridaGuy · 51-55, M
I wonder if beggars and charitable support exist in non-capitalist societies. @Gusman
@Gusman you say capitalism.. i say the privatization of essential services. (as above mentions) should be regulated by the government, funded by tax dollars) was a big leap towards the shit mess we are in..
Gusman · 61-69, M
@FloridaGuy The reason there are such a huge number of beggars is because Capitalism put them there🤷‍♂️
Capitalism is Cruel to a huge % of the population.
Homelessness is on the rise in the Western World
FloridaGuy · 51-55, M
How have you managed to avoid homelessness? Through a complete rejection of capitalism? @Gusman

@FloridaGuy No, but the last 4 companies I have worked previously for have either downsized by sacking people or moved offshore because their share prices crashed
Hundreds of people lost their jobs, their livelihood, their homes.
All in the name of more profit.
FloridaGuy · 51-55, M
@Gusman Many ventures fail in a competitive market. Do you think a firm that cannot maintain its market share shouldn’t develop strategies to innovate and remain viable? For those that got cut, I’m sure it’s stressful. Is your economy strong enough to offer present opportunities elsewhere?
Gusman · 61-69, M
@FloridaGuy What I am saying is Capitalism can only survive on Profit.
No profit? Cut work force, move overseas or shut down.
Destroying lives
One thing that does happen, bosses continue to get their bonuses, keep their jobs.
The workers who made the profits are tossed aside.
