I would.
JBird · F
That's what expected of someone you love. Although it hurts to think that they will forget you at some point of life
bijouxbroussard · F
Yes. I had one and was in the position of having to move on after he died. 😔
Success · 26-30, F
Hey, I just got married last month!

@Success Congratulations
Mamapolo2016 · F
Definitely. I’ve always said I don’t care if they bring a date to my funeral. I won’t be there.
Incidentally, people who were happy with their spouse or SO are more likely to remarry and likely to remarry - or co-habitate - sooner.

Expect? No, but she knows that if she were to find love again it would be no disrespect to me. I would just want her to be happy and content, whether it is with someone else or if she decides to stay alone.
latinbutterfly · F
Yes, although I know it would be very hard for him.

No I can be their ghost lover still, can’t I ?
Mona86 · C

I wouldn’t want that but I’ll understand if they find someone that love like I do and makes as happy as I and doesn’t rob him of his finances yes

Her choice. If she wants to remarry she can. If she wants to remain single she can. I won't be here to worry about it.
Jenni7 · 26-30, F
Yes, he still has a life and I would want him to live it.. but I would hope to be his best partner 😊
luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
I insist!
Why should both of us die just because I did! A) I won’t know anyway B) I’m so awsome good luck replacing me!
(That’s sarcasm!)

Sure.
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
no, i want her sad and crying about losing me until she dies. just kidding, her happiness is the most important thing to me, even if one day i realize that i no longer make her happy i will leave her so that she may find happiness with someone else.
approachingmyexpirationdate · 70-79, M
yup. I would just hope she wouldn't stand on my oxygen line to speed up the process.
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
I'm hoping she would. That way, vshell be less likely to take our kid and move back home, which is probably the most dangerous place to be in the Western Hemisphere right now
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
If I had one, I would most certainly hope they moved on. Can't deny or blame them if they mourn, but ultimately I just want them to be happy and the quicker they move on the sooner they might find that again.
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 31-35, F
I would hope they would. Love isn’t always the same with each person in fact it’s nearly always experienced differently. But it can be an amazing way to spend your life with someone that makes you feel unlike others. If I were to die first I would hope he wouldn’t just mourn me endlessly & never fall in love again 💔

They will move on regardless, even if they don't want to. Nothing remains motionless in life and they will move on despite themselves.
