Julian Assange sentenced to 50 weeks prison

@SW-User Personally, I think the Swedish charges are trumped up. Meaning totally Political.
The world has to shut Assange up any way possible.

@Gusman What I heard is that it's because Sweden have become "better" at reporting rape. I know the statistics has gone up because of it. If those women who claimed it tells the truth or not; idk.

@SW-User There in lies the conundrum.
Who is telling the truth?
Supposedly the three involved in the menage a trios were all okay with the arrangement then for some reason the Women decided to accuse him of rape.

@Gusman yes I know it can take time to build up courage to tell. And, the laws in Sweden are stricter in the matter than what they used to be. You can be flattered, and all of a sudden realize that our laws says these events that occured is illegal.

But we all know why this is happening.......just look at the secrecy that wikileaks has shone a light on, not just the collateral damage video, which is hideous.
By all means he should go.to Sweden if there's a case to be had but personally I think it's bullshit, it's cover for extradition and off to Guantanamo for.him

Not the Media, Not the Australian Government.
He will end up incarcerated in a US facility for many years.
The world knows this as well. The world does not care.

@gol979 are you joking? What if it is NOT "all happening" for this reason? Of course I was thinking too back then, but I don't want to believe at all in the "bullshit" theory anymore.

@Gusman because most people get their news from msm and as they're just stenographers for the powerful most people despise assange.
Crazy that an Australian who published articles on a European website is getting done over by the US. I'm not sure what legal framework they are following but when did that bother them?

@SW-User as I said, if there's a case of rape to be heard then he should face trial and he has never not wanted this......he asked for asylum because he knew he was going to get extradited to the US. Most commentary was staying that he was doing it to avoid the charges but surprise, surprise the first thing that happened was the US asked for extradition.

Also, Swedish authorities questioned him and stated there's no case to answer
