Everything is fine and dandy, as long as you have a home, but how about homeless people?

We have them over here as well, albeit not in the same percentage of the population than the bigger countries. Some of them become professional criminals, hoping to get caught, since spending time in jail for a few years is better than sleeping under overpasses, etc.

Homelessness is too easy to overlook over here because these people don't always sleep rough - they are clean and go back to hotel rooms at night. You could pass one in the street and never know that this person is homeless.

I had people do it to me when I was homeless myself.

@HootyTheNightOwl When I lived in London, UK, almost two decades ago... I was astonished by the level of ignorance regular people showed towards homeless ones. I had never experienced that before. Probably one of the reasons I applied for the armed UK troops later on, as to correct things, no matter how bad they might have been.
