Almost always victims to either awful circumstances or crushing personal problems that they, themselves aren't even aware of. Often both, and I'm sympathetic to both; it means their suffering is ultimately not a choice.

I think they are free to be who and what they are. Maybe they aren't pretentious. I don't know their internal makeup.

That their emotional state is not dishonest.
Sometimes life’s challenges aren’t as desirable as they looked.

Same as i think of happy people or people anywhere in between, you are experiencing life and how you feel now is just one part of it.

As long as they're not victims, I wish them well.

@GlitterBug That's fine. Not many people would agree with me on that. Not many people like being responsible either.

I get what you're saying but I see a difference between an actual victim and someone playing victim. @Reject

@GlitterBug I have no problem with actual victims as long as they don't become bad people from it. My biggest issue is that nearly all of them do. Justify your hatred for something, and you're no better than it. That's how I feel. So it's not about wether or not their victimhood is valid, it's about the kind of person that experience made them. Very few of them instead of choosing to hate become better people who I prefer to call survivors.

I think everyone has moments of unhappiness, just some are better at moving out of it than others.

I feel for them mostly...but I don't have much use for unhappy people who seem to make it their life mission to see that all other people are unhappy too.

A lot of people are malcontents, not happy with anything no matter what. It's like they look for things to complain about. Then other people are unhappy because bad things happen.
