Most people here are regular sized and have no problems with their knees. You are absolutely so much luckier than I am.

Just spent three minutes, trying to figure out how to get up from my bed. It would so much easier, if it were some five or six inches taller. Going to the toilet for having a dump is very tricky, since the bowl is so low. Luckily for me, I'm tall enough to grab the handle of the door, both ways. One of the benefits of living in a very small apartment. Still... Everything is too low for my knees, since I'm about the size of Ganymedes.
