How can I move out of my parent's house?

I hate being another millennial statistic. And please, don't get the wrong idea...I don't hate my parents or anything like that. I just want a place of my own. Preferably an apartment. My house contains so many bad memories and negative energy. I just have to get away. Unfortunately, my funds don't agree with me. No matter how much I work, the funds are just never enough. Well, at least not enough to get my own place. I feel like I'm in a losing battle. I feel like as long as I'm living with my parents, I'll never evolve into anything positive. I'm reaching my breaking point.

@StrangeLife94 It's very heard to live out there by yourself you have to be very financially stable and well off and I am no where near that. I'm like you I don't want roommates because I doubt I like them.

@Chickie Exactly. People act like living with roommates is no big deal. It's important to keep in mind that finding roommates is basically like living with complete strangers. I want my independence and to be financially stable, but I don't want to lose my sanity in the process. I don't want to even live with my parents, let alone people I don't know or trust.

@StrangeLife94 So, let's summarize (again):

1. You want to move out and be independent.
2. You can't afford it and you don't want help from your parents, you won't consider roommates, and you won't consider an additional job (too hard).
3. You don't like being criticized (constructively) for coming off as spoiled and entitled.
4. You want to be praised for wanting to be independent.
5. You plan to continue living at home and complaining about your situation. NOTE: You don't hate your parents, just the house which has bad memories of you and your parents living there.
6. You don't know (for the life of you) why you are getting so many "rude" comments.

Is that about it? 🕵️

@MarkPaul I'm not gonna type out an extensive explanation for you. You're not worth the time. You completely missed the point of what I'm saying. It went way over your head.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@StrangeLife94 Well, what's your point then? Entitled much?
StrangeLife94 · 26-30, M
@MarkPaul You're the one who talks about bumming money from parents. How am I the entitled one?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@StrangeLife94 I think you're missing the point.
StrangeLife94 · 26-30, M
@MarkPaul You have no point.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@StrangeLife94 How can you be so close minded?
