How can I move out of my parent's house?

I hate being another millennial statistic. And please, don't get the wrong idea...I don't hate my parents or anything like that. I just want a place of my own. Preferably an apartment. My house contains so many bad memories and negative energy. I just have to get away. Unfortunately, my funds don't agree with me. No matter how much I work, the funds are just never enough. Well, at least not enough to get my own place. I feel like I'm in a losing battle. I feel like as long as I'm living with my parents, I'll never evolve into anything positive. I'm reaching my breaking point.

If you hate being another MILLENNIAL statistic, get a second job, work 60+ hours a week, learn what a budget is, get some work ethics, save your money, then you can get you own place and not be a statistic.

That sounds like an awesome idea. That is...if I never had to eat, sleep, or buy basic things.

Then just let mommy and daddy support you all your life and stop complaining.

@frogpond You do realize I have a full time job, right? I pay for food, car insurance, gas, my phone bill, and pretty much anything that's needed. I don't indulge in materialism.

@frogpond Let's summarize... he doesn't want to live at home. He doesn't want roommates. He doesn't want to get funding from his parents. He doesn't want to be inconvenienced in any way, shape, or form. But, he's open to solutions... "preferably an apartment."

@MarkPaul My parents aren't going to fund me. So that eliminates that argument.

@MarkPaul from your comment you have a job or two, know what a budget is and have a work ethic. If this is correct I will proudly heart you posting.

@frogpond Are you talking to me? Cause Mark has proved absolutely nothing.
StrangeLife94 · 26-30, M
@MarkPaul Must be easy for you Mark. Has it ever occured to you that some parents don't have the money for funding? Its as if you think the world "owes" you something.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@StrangeLife94 Isn't that the attitude you are peddling? You "prefer" an apartment. You don't want to do anything to make it happen. Maybe you should just continue to live at home, do your chores, and quit your self-absorbed bellyaching.

@MarkPaul What do you not understand? I have a job. It's just not suffice enough. In case you haven't noticed, millennials aren't exactly living under a thriving economy. Inflation has hindered the cost of living. I'm quite sure I'm not alone on this issue. It's difficult to keep up financially.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@StrangeLife94 But, you won't make any accommodations for reality. So, basically you just want to complain. Is that it?
StrangeLife94 · 26-30, M
@MarkPaul I was asking for advise. Instead, all I got was overly bashing nowhere comments. But as of today, I think I found a new 2nd job. So hopefully that'll help out. But I definitely don't have you to thank.

@StrangeLife94 That was the original advice that you tossed aside. Maybe now, finally, you will get a taste of what the real-world is like. Congrats.
