I am most lucky to live in the country where it is quiet except for the yapping of coyote's as they hunt, the constant twittering of birds, the persistent buzz of swarms of killer bees, herds of Wildebeest stampeding through the back forty, cockerels crowing and the mighty black beer smashing through my back door to yet again raid my provisions... Oh and worst of all my current girlfriend snoring...

Sometimes my neighbor's toddler will stand outside and just make these weird screeching noises. Repeatedly. Just because she can. No one tells her to stop. It's fucking unbearable.

The 'kids' around the area, they're all friends. They're old enough to know better but they still act like 'cool' kids. If I ever acted or spoke the way they do.. my nan would have battered me with her wooden cooking spoon.

@hertoy I like them, but I hear ya'. The worst are the ones that have open exhaust and and huge blocks but don't get above 50. That noise is only cool when the thing is actually fast.

@hertoy Especially if they are turbine engines. Those things scream, it is kind cool watching a 50 ft. boat go 200mph though.

My roommates constantly stomping back and forth, upstairs. Oh well. I'll be leaving soon. The pacing sounds make me nervous. Can't concentrate on my music and writing when I feel all that anxious energy.

@Mondayschild Deer for me as well, they're healthy and quietly graze close to the house.
I have coyotes come down within 15 feet or so, they are often after my chickens.. Nature's pretty wonderful..

@Majorlatency oh yes it is. I don't like the coyote and the fact that the park brought them in here to kill off some other animal. They will kill a pet or anything.

@Mondayschild Yes they are voracious and here their packs number ten or more.. I have German Shepherds and I'm amazed at how bold the coyotes can be.. I guess they have a role in life but they are opportunists and have cost me a few chickens and a cat over the years..

@bijouxbroussard Are noisy ones a good thing? No, I don't think so. Non motorcycle people put us all in one big group. The loud ones get the attention and then it's gilt by association.
