Do you think if we flipped the world today, and put women into the majority of positions of power...

...they would become as corrupt as men are now?

No troll replies please :)
Anybody can become corrupt by power but women are not driven by testosterone so it wouldn't be the same. That's why women never had power positions, most are not ruthless enough and when one is everybody thinks she's a monster, you can't win.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout yea, I for one am looking forward to be on the receiving end of sexual harassmen.

The thing about absolute power is it corrupts absolutely

I've worked for women who were in power positions. What I found was that they were only as corrupt as they needed to be, to survive in a primarily male dominated power structure. So, it's really hard to say where their natural tendencies would lead them. What I did find was that they were more direct, even at times brutally so; but again, that seemed to be more driven by survival than anything.

I guess I find that difficult to answer with any certainty...

Look at hillary and you’ve found your answer. Probably yes.

The case isn't based on which gender exactly but the balance of both masculine and feminine in either gender. That would determine better who can lead and who cannot. Understanding and balance in action should have better results...
Yes. The manner, though, would, perhaps, be more subtle. Presently, women 'in power' often compete with men by assuming their predominant emotions and strategies. 'Women in power', for me, is nothing more than gender transmutation.

No, if they didn't get there on their own then they wouldn't have been corrupted. Now if your flip was by placing women that were already on their way in the fields then yes.

yes, im positive. it’s why it needs to be 50/50 so men and women can keep each other in check
Its hard to be good & in power. Maybe even impossible.
I don't think it'd be possibly worse than this.

Not only corrupt ..vindictive too
This is a tricky one, are you saying not just the leader but also the minsters etc?

There have been some incredible female queens across the world, but in the 20th/21st centuries we have seen even female leaders surrounded with corruption.....but then is that because their support staff was all men?

@InOtterWords I don't know where I stand on it. I think the idea of EVERYTHING changing overnight is a fascinating one, because here we would see a male prime minister, with a majority female staff, and female newspaper editors deciding what to say about that, and female bank CEOs deciding how they want their businesses to be run, and female judges & 'Lords' passing new laws. How would they all support each other, or would it be a race to the top, trampling over each other along the way?
@CheshireCatalyst
Didn't tony Blair come the closest to this 🙈

but then where would "mums" be and how will that affect how future generations think, because maybe they're not as nurtured, and maybe more spoiled and mollycoddled due to the guilt.
My friend tried to do a survey of how many mothers were on the main board in fate 100 companies, most would not give out the information

It is an interesting dynamic, I like this question.
