Anyone else hate making eye contact?

It used to feel odd to me too. I'd glance for maybe half a second just to show interest but then look away again. It gets easier with time and as you gain confidence. Now I probably make too much eye contact and make others look away.

I do...due to my lazy eye.
I always hear, "I don't know where to look and it makes me uncomfortable."
So, best to not try to look people in the eye for their benefit.

I don't like it either...I'm only like this with ppl who really like to analyze me...

But if the person is absent mindedly talking away & is into whatever they're saying then I don't mind eye contact.

Sometimes if my bipolar cycle has me in a weird place. Otherwise I am fine with it, often engaging.

Not in general but some people are hostile and it is painful to engage with them with eye contact. Look at their eye brows in that case.

I only hate it when it's a girl I'm attracted too. Trying to keep your cool isn't always easy.
