People who block traffic to protest should be sued into oblivion for any damages.
The silly misdemeanors they get charged with are meaningless. Not sure if they ever get actually tried. These miscreants should face ruin.

They blocked a major freeway in Oregon yesterday.

I don't know what these people are thinking, and I didn't know at the time what they were even protesting, but preventing emergency vehicles from getting where they need to go is not the way to get my empathy. It's a felony, and it needs to be treated as such.
