You are who you are and we are all little worlds made cunningly you're definitely not a freak.

@Lostpoet Cunningly made worlds are artificial freaks. Not natural.

@sree251 It's from John Donne it means we aren't made without reason.

I checked on Donne on the internet and briefly parsed through an article on his work as a poet. Seems like you are a serious commentator. I need to study Donne more closely before discussing your comment.

The OP's post is seeking clarity about a personal concern. Can you expand on your Donne poetic remark?

@sree251 It's form his Holy Sonnets

I am a little world made cunningly
Of elements and an angelic sprite,
But black sin hath betray'd to endless night
My world's both parts, and oh both parts must die

It's one of my favorite poems of his you should read it.

Here's another similar quote from Walt Whitman Song of myself

I exist as I am, that is enough,
If no other in the world be aware I sit content,
And if each and all be aware I sit content.

One world is aware and by far the largest to me, and that is myself,
And whether I come to my own to-day or in ten thousand or ten million years,
I can cheerfully take it now, or with equal cheerfulness I can wait.

@Lostpoet You have led me down a garden path into Donne's mind. His poems are intoxicating.

The OP has asked for a simple clarification of self-identity. One's world may be cunningly made, but who - or should I say what - is the maker of that world?

@sree251 In John Donne's time it was God, but in the modern times science suggests random mutations of the genes and our environment dictates our personalities. I believe that everyone one and everything has a soul so I lean towards the idea of a God creating us. But I also think that God doesn't make mistakes so if you're Trans or Gay then that's the way God made you and it doesn't make you bad.

God is one way, and science (namely, us intellectuals) is another. The OP has presented us a situation that is neither yours nor mine to endure. I assume your body is male, and so is mine. You live your life as a man with a body that is made to specs to complement the body of a woman. Natasha has been dealt a wild card, and must live with a body somewhere in between.

You don't believe in God, and neither do I. You have a body somewhere in between. How would you deal with this. We owe natasha a straight answer.
