It's not heroic, it's damn right stupidity.

I honestly think that all those branding people transphobic, for simply having a opinion or view on the contraversy surrounding the community, are simply justifying their grotesque behaviour.

There's is no justification for it, they know it, so they attack anyone who doesn't agree.

Dangerous game to play if they can't see the damage being done and choose to protect those responsible for the atrocities that are going on.

If you're against male born people competing in women's sport you're transphobic too 🤦‍♂️

@BeefySenpie Ugh. They've an unfair advantage. If anyone doesn't understand that then there's no hope really is there!?
Dacrowman · 70-79, M
@BeefySenpie in that case I'm transphobic
Can't win anything as a male v others males they trans and suddenly become a winner v females 😠
JakeSetto · 18-21, M
@Purplerain78 I mean, is that not the entire point of competitive sports? People having a natural advantage? Look at Michael Phelps, his success is 100% down to genetics. He was built in a way that no other swimmer could ever train to be on his level.

On a side note, there's already been like MULTIPLE situations where a trans man (born female) is has consistently beat cisgender men in sports. That right there should disprove the whole "unfair advantage" argument.

On ANOTHER side note when trans women (born male) are on hormone therapy for longer than roughly a year, their hormonal system (which is what has the biggest impact on things like muscle density) to essentially be fully female, again disproving the "unfair advantage"

Sports have always adapted to different needs. Early on there were no weight classes, there were no gender specific sports, it was just whoever best competed with each other. Who's to say sports even NEED to be segregated by gender? If people are going to be so overly hung up on who has an advantage over who, which i would again like to point out... is the point of competitive sports, why not class the players based on performance?
Dacrowman · 70-79, M
@JakeSetto there will always be men bigger and stronger than other men same as there will always be women bigger and stronger than other women
Purplerain78 · 41-45, F
@JakeSetto in that case then, why aren't trans women competing against the men in sports? Biologically they're still not actually female. No amount of hormones or surgery will change that fact.
JakeSetto · 18-21, M
@Dacrowman Exactly, it's not a gender thing. People that defend the "unfair advantage" argument act as if there aren't men that are 5'5", or that that same man would be a balanced match for a 7' tall guy in basketball. Gender here isn't the issue, sex isn't the issue. Hell there isn't an issue lmao 🤣
JakeSetto · 18-21, M
@Purplerain78 Trans women aren't competing against men for the same reason that cis women aren't competing against men... because they aren't men. Using biology as a blanket statement to group anyone into one category doesn't work. You're telling me right now that YOU... would be able to compete with a female athlete and it would be fair? No, because everyone (YES even within ones own biological sex) is going to perform differently. I guarantee you there are plenty of biological women that could destroy plenty of biological men in sports, it isn't black and white.
@JakeSetto Plus, most official sports leagues have regulations regarding trans women, if they allow them at all. Like that they have to have been on hormones for at least a year, so that they no longer have an advantage. This is why the myth that trans women dominate women's sports has no proof.

But really, few people who bring this up actually care about women's sports. It's just an attempt at trying to pit cis women and trans women against each other.
JakeSetto · 18-21, M
@BohemianBoo Exactly, it's all just smoke and mirrors, they don't give a fuck about the facts, they never have and never will, it's always been about their bigoted feelings. And i LOVE using stupid peoples' words against them, so... "Facts over feelings" 🤣
@JakeSetto
Who's to say sports even NEED to be segregated by gender?
Clearly you’ve never watched athletics, swimming or an Olympic Games in your life to name just a few examples but competition has always been divided by gender
JakeSetto · 18-21, M
@BeefySenpie And the reason for it being divided is...? Because there hasn't been any push for it to be any other way, there hasn't been any need to. But now there is. The way I see it (because i'm not down for a world that just completely excludes demographics) either trans people are allowed to compete in gendered sports, because there is no proof that they actually have any physical *unfair* advantage, or sports be separated out by performance, but of course that won't happen. It will stay the same and everyone's gonna argue about it and get mad about really petty things.
@JakeSetto
And the reason for it being divided is...?
If you can't work that one out on your own, you may have knocked your head a few times. Hopefully you can read one example though, and then apply this logic on a wider scale

Name one...

@Slade Patricio Manuel, a trans male... has beat his 3rd cis male opponent, making his record 3-0
