Why is every one so worried about trans women

@BlueVeins What fear is being expressed by anyone who thinks that naturally born men have a physical advantage over physically born women? That isn't exactly rocket science to realize that sexual dimorphism is a real thing. Human males on average are 20% larger than human females. This is similar to most other mammals.

@hippyjoe1955 The fear of cisgender women being outcompeted in women's sports, obviously. In some cases, that fear is warranted, but it's definitely still a fear. Also, you're kinda leaving out the effects of HRT.

@BlueVeins Again, I find it extraordinary that so many professional organizations and governmental agencies right on down to the common man are so suddenly preoccupied with the purity and preservation of women's sports, particularly when they've spent the last 50 years not giving a good goddamn and putting their empty wallets behind that empty sentiment.

And who's going to handle the lawsuits that emerge when women who simply want to shoot, play chess or pool as a sport are suddenly banned from doing so because of an unproven advantage in their competition?

The issue needs to be addressed, but let's do it methodically and without fear, panic and the tinge of prejudice in it, yeah? Too many people these days sound just like Puritans. only without all the hats.

@BlueVeins The irony of trans people in sports is that trans people lose in sports as much as they win, they can lose 9 out of 10 times, win 1 and then everyone loses their minds. All the experts in sports science say that people have different advantages in different sports but not because of what most people think, there's varying things that contribute to a person winning.

@hippyjoe1955 There was a trans athlete talking about how they lost the other 9 competitions to their competitor, they finally won one and then people freaked out, made it much larger than what it was. How is that taking away anything? If anything you're assuming that women are too weak to win anything and that's just sexist. The reason people get uppity about women's sports is because they are sexist and even among women themselves, internalized sexism rears its ugly head.

Nobody makes women look weak except women who lose naturally to trans athletes and then want to complain that it wasn't their won talent that made them lose but the trans person. That's essentially mental weakness. I'm glad that those women admit just how mentally weak they really are but that's not trans people's fault.

@SatanBurger nor do I about the nonsense you are spewing. Is the tranny born a male or a female? Was the tranny any good as an athlete in their original wrapping? A number of years a go my wife who swam competitively as a woman challenged me to a race. I am not a very good swimmer and count myself more as a splasher than a swimmer. However the challenge was accepted and much to my surprise I won the race rather handily. Only science deniers think that sexual dimorphism doesn't exist.

@SatanBurger And you completely lack experience. Did you hear about the US women's national soccer team losing to a bunch of highschool boys? Probably not. You hate women's sports and want it gone!

@hippyjoe1955 Are those high school boys transitioning to where they have little to no testosterone left? No? Okay then. At any rate, if the women's team lost it could be that they naturally lost because they lost that one competition. Did they play another game to see if they'd win or lose?

This is not scientific enough to determine that they lost specifically because they were boys.
