I'm not a cross dresser, but my body hair problem is getting to the point where I'm incredibly self conscious of it and I keep hearing the voice of my mother and all the things she would say to me.
I'm now at the point where I'm near constantly grabbing chunks of unwanted hair and trying to rip it out.

Okay; I really posted this to be funny with a hint of truthfulness behind it. But your right,
It's okay, your female and that normal to be self-conscious about hair growth.
For me in the beginning I self-conscious about my hair loss, wearing womens clothing, shaving my legs (what a waste time that was, it just grows back) and other things I was self-conscious about.
Turns out its all in our minds. Granted 99% don't even care what we wear or have on our bodies.
So why do we put ourselves though this hell.
My answer is: I DON'T KNOW
But I learn to overcome most of it.
It's okay, your female and that normal to be self-conscious about hair growth.

@HumanEarth In my case, it's not so much about the hirsutism... I can live with that - it was always the bullying that was something that was too much for me. Especially when that bully was always my mother... who really wastes time worrying about "Is my parent going to mention my hair or lack thereof today???".
Given that a lot of her abuse also had to include references to sex and me being an adult, this made the leap into sexual commentary, too "You'll be alright when you start having sex with men, you'll be lying there naked and he'll say 'Okay, take your pant off, then'". Laugh of it is that she fucking knew it was in the family long before I was born - she chose to shack up with a man whose sister had the same problem and make me.
She single handedly stripped my confidence so far back that I hate myself.
