So tell me what your true thoughts are on poly relationships???

thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
I disagree with it being unnatural..I believe we have hearts big enough to love more than one person at a time @freebird

Plus hunans are not creatures bind by nature @thememphisbelle:

you ask for true thoughts but what ur really searching for is opinions. And with those opinions ur searching for affirmation.

Why do you need affirmation from others to live ur life? Nobody's opinion is gonna put food on ur table and pay ur bills so pay their opinions no mind.

Live ur life boo boo be happy do whatever you want as long as u don't hurt anyone
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@DeluxedEdition: oh believe me I am...I am very happy just curious to hear what others think!
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
If everyone is on the same page it can work just fine
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@FreeSpirit1: I very much agree.
abstractmuse90 · 31-35, F
I think it's an interesting relationship dynamic to look into. I'll never throw out the concept because i'll want to know the pros and the cons, because, realistically, i'm sure it's not all about having permission to sleep with other people, it's building the trust to connect on a deeper level with other people, which can grow into something emotional and physical. You definitely gotta be open to be vulnerable and to share your partner with other people. This takes both trusting yourself and trusting your partner that you will not lose that connection you have with them, when you see them getting physical with another lover.
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@abstractmuse90: everyone tends to think it is all about sex and most definitely it is not all..as a matter fact that comes in very low in our relationship..
abstractmuse90 · 31-35, F
It's good to get informed instead of jumping to judgment of what we don't know.
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@abstractmuse90: I agree!!
Its starts out with wives asking you to dance ... cause the husband is drunk or talking ... then the wives ask you to join them on girls night out, to dance with

Then one asks if you will take one of the wives out for her birthday ... because she is depressed she will be 29 ... and her husband is sitting a well offshore.

Then word gets around how awesome that date was ... so they all start asking for dates on birthdays, holidays ... and whenever husbands are traveling.

Then the husbands start planning trips, for golf, tournaments and Vegas weekends ... figuring you have it taken care of ... and the wives are all good about that.

Pretty win-win.

Then one of the wives start falling for you ... then another.

Nope ... it never works out.

@questionWeaver: There are different levels of poly..we have one other male so we have a tripod and that is all we are really interested in.
Good point ... easier on the guys that way .. .. better focus ... cool
herm71 · 51-55, M
I think poly is the only way to go. By nature we are drawn to be attracted to more than one person :)
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@herm71 I very much agree!
GeniUs · 56-60, M
I would always wonder if I was the best, wonder if there's somebody with a giant knob, always prefer the one with the tight voovoo, too many questions. I think one and one is better.
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@GeniUs: It is not all about sex my dear..
GeniUs · 56-60, M
That's what would bother me! Oh and I'm a bit of a communist, I'd expect everybody in the relationship to pull their weight.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
Probably works best with multiple men for a woman, which I would be willing to try. I don't see many women willing to share their man with other women. Plus, difficult for one man to satisfy multiple women.
Fernie · F
unless everyone lives in the same house...isn't that just dating?
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@Fernie: not
Fernie · F
@thememphisbelle: I swear I was not being a spelling Nazi...I really thought it was an expression I was not familiar with...being 300 years old and all :>
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@Fernie: lol...no worries!
It can be right for some and not for others. Human dynamics and such. So long as everyone is feeling loved, I see nothing wrong with it.
mrmoose · 70-79, M
it's between the people involved, i haven'tdone that, but it's none of my business
gurlwatcher22 · 61-69, M
😉If poly doesn't mind, than I don't either!
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@gurlwatcher22: you made me giggle!!
MikeMorgan · M
The more the merrier ..It's just sex..
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@Zizomus: very very wrong!
MikeMorgan · M
@thememphisbelle: To each their own wrong for one person is perfect for another

Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
Sounds like a lot of work.
thememphisbelle · 51-55, F
@Harmonium1923: It is a lot of work but very worth it!
courtney0380 · 36-40, F
I think they work
Goralski · 51-55, M
I Don't know poly
Hamyamyak · 31-35, F
Share the loveeeee
SolidHeart · 46-50, M
I wouldn't do it or encourage it. But I think as some people tend to isolate themselves, others likes to be contaminted in groups they get well along. Who are your partners at your home? Is it a full living or temporary?
Mguinm · 51-55, F
Not for me at all, but if the parties involved are fine with it and it works out then more power to them.
