How would you react if you were denied service and discriminated against?

For being a gender and sexual minority. Some people would sue the person or establishment. Others would post on social media their experiences. Still others would just not give them their business again and go elsewhere. Personally I would leave a terrible review of the establishment or person and not give them my business. I’m not really the suing kind. One I don’t have the patience to file a lawsuit and battle it out in court. And two I just don’t think bringing the law down on someone’s head is the wisest way to go about combatting discrimination in this case. If it’s continued harassment however it’s necessary. Some people would argue that’s exactly lawsuits are for but I don’t want to force someone who obviously wants nothing to do with me in their establishment or business to have to serve me and for me it would just prolong the embarrassment of being treated in such a way when I could have moved onto something better. Anyway what would you do?

Call out the discrimination at the time, no matter how difficult or inconvenient it is for me.

Knowing me, I would probably shrug it off and assume it was not actual discrimination but that the storekeeper or whoever was just having a bad day.
