I recently came out as trans to my aunt

And she reacted the same way as one of my 3 sisters and most my friends

"That makes sense"

Then she started reminiscing about all the times I refused to be more feminine 😅

(To those who don't know: I identify as a man, but need surgery to match the look to my persona)

It felt great knowing I had one more ally. Still haven't come out to mom and stepdad, or any of the other older relatives, but it's scary so not gonna push myself.

I obviously don't know your relatives but the odds are the older one's will be cool with it. Outside of the super religious (faux-moral) age has a way of delivering "Life's short - Be happy." Good luck.

@Ynotisay my mom has the same values as her father who was born 1927.

It took me 6 months to gather the courage to tell her I didn't want to eat dead animals anymore. Her response was to take up hunting, and she still makes fun of me 11 years later.

So, I don't think she'll take it well when I tell her I'm a man.

@TheRealBarbossa Well, as I'm sure you know, everyone has their own trip. At a certain point it's good to say, "whatever" and just do your thing.
