Anyone who has an opinion on this?

Could it be one day soon that there's an expo where real women will be interact in a realistic way with humanoid robots? I do have my own personal thoughts on it, but it's something that scares me much more than anything else. What do you think about this? Do you think that it's really a step too far, or not?

The very idea people find AI for emotion and support, when they have friends also needing support is beyond for me, yet so real in this world. There was a man once in Japan who asked permission to marry his robot, the government denied his request. I can't be the one who says no, but I have learned in intimacy, love, and sensuality I want them as a person as I see them.

@val70 I'm not sure how you mean. I have never used AI, a bot, or even a toy to find pleasure. I have done many things but none of those.

Using robots with some human characteristics for routine tasks in care homes has been shown to have positive psychological effects. But they should never be used to replace real human interactions completely. If there is a genuine demand for such services this suggests a fundamental decay in society.

@val70 Proving my point .. you ask for opinions but cant tolerate a joke or one that differs from yours. That is among the biggest problems with relationships in our time. Those for whom it is an issue will turn to that no matter who .. or what .. they interact with.
