Population of the UK: 67.0 million.
Population of the USA: 340.7 million.

Add to the fact that even EP was started in the USA, not to mention SW.

Now I ask what major web sites where started in the UK? 🤔

I don't know of any that are world wide. 🤷🏻‍♂️

FB, Instagram, Twitter, Google YouTube, Yahoo, Reddit, all are USA started. Even defunked Usenet and Myspace was USA started.

Why doesn't the UK have at least one world wide social media site? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️

Must note. I know China has one social media site. Though it's not really worldwide.

There are a goodly number of Britons on here, but it is an American site.

Also the population of the USA is much larger than that of the UK so a higher number of people using sites like this even if the proportions are similar.
